The used folding bridge, also known as Faltfestbrücke (FFB), offers a range of important advantages. With high mobility and compact foldable bridge units, transport is simple and efficient. Moreover, the bridge takes up limited space at the bank, ranging from 15 to 20 metres. Installation requires no preparation and minimises physical strain. With long, automatically folding bridge units and a closed road surface of 4.4 metres wide, it offers high crossing capacity, allowing even small vehicles and motorbikes to pass the bridge effortlessly. This bridge also offers high transverse stiffness and flexible spans ranging from 14 to 39.5 metres.

Remarkably, the the bridge was extremely tested with a load of 110 tonnes, performed by two Leopard 2 MBTs on a tractor-trailer combination. Designed for a rated load of MLC 70 and with a cruising speed of 25 km/h, this bridge has proven to meet the highest standards.
