Personal data we process

As part of our services, we collect personal data from our customers, visitors to our website, persons who contact us by telephone (or e-mail) and job applicants. Schraven B.V. processes your personal data if you use our services and/or because you provide them to us yourself.

  • Directly from you when you visit our websites. Including information you provide to us via the contact form on our website;

Schraven B.V. processes your personal data for the following purposes:

  • To deliver goods and services to you. Basis: necessary for the performance of services
  • To handle your payment. Basis: necessary for the performance of services

Schraven B.V. analyses your behaviour on the website in order to improve the website and tailor the range of products and services to your preferences. Basis: necessary for the protection of our legitimate interests.

Schraven B.V. also processes personal data if we are legally obliged to do so, such as data we need for our tax return. Basis: necessary for the protection of our legitimate interests.

Special and/or sensitive personal data we process

Our website and/or service does not intend to collect data on website visitors who are under 16 years of age. Unless they have permission from parents or guardians. However, we cannot check whether a visitor is older than 16. We therefore advise parents to be involved in their children's online activities to avoid collecting data on children without parental consent. If you are convinced that we have collected personal data about a minor without such consent, please contact us at jbuurman@schravenbv.com and we will delete this information.

How long we keep personal data

Schraven B.V. does not retain your personal data for longer than is strictly necessary to fulfil the purposes for which your data are collected. Only if we are legally obliged to do so, or if this is necessary to defend our interests in court (e.g. in case of a dispute), will we retain personal data for longer periods.

  • We use the following retention periods for the following (categories of) personal data:
  • Data for purchasing a paid product/service 7 years
  • Website user data 2 years
  • Supplier data 7 years
  • Applicant data Maximum 4 weeks after completion of procedure
  • Sharing personal data with third parties

Schraven B.V. does not sell your data to third parties and only provides them if this is necessary for the execution of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation. With companies that process your data on our behalf, we conclude a processor agreement (which sets out restrictions on the use of your personal data and obligations regarding the security of your personal data) to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data.

Viewing, correcting or deleting data

You have the right to view, correct or delete your personal data. In addition, you have the right to withdraw your possible consent to data processing or object to the processing of your personal data by Schraven B.V. and you have the right to data portability. This means that you can submit a request to us to send the personal data we hold on you in a computer file to you or another organisation named by you.

You can send a request for inspection, correction, deletion, data transfer of your personal data or a request to withdraw your consent or object to the processing of your personal data to jbuurman@schravenbv.com.

To ensure that the request for inspection is made by you, we ask you to send a copy of your proof of identity with the request as well as the telephone number where you can be reached during the day. In this copy, black out your passport photo, MRZ (Machine Readable Zone, the strip of numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and Citizen Service Number (BSN). This is to protect your privacy. We will respond to your request as soon as possible, but within four weeks.

Schraven B.V. would also like to point out that you have the possibility to submit a complaint to the national supervisory authority, the Authority for Personal Data.

How we secure personal data

Schraven B.V. takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorised access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorised modification. Your personal data is stored on secure servers. The website uses encryption by means of SSL.

If you have the impression that your data is not properly secured or there are indications of abuse, please contact us at jesselink@schravenbv.com.

Furthermore, we try to ensure that we keep your data accurate and up-to-date. We therefore kindly ask you to inform us of any changes to your personal data (such as a change in your contact details).
