GVB Ferry in dry dock
🔧 It never ceases to amaze us where our engineers sometimes end up working.
Here, at the Oranjewerf dry dock in Amsterdam, we were asked to replace the propeller shaft seals for GVB Ferries.
And luckily, our (tiny) van full of tools was able to get very close.
New destination for Christoffel
🚢 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗹 𝗜 has found a new home at MRD Marinesupport.
The ferry will be used for various projects. A great next step!

Schottel BMK-80 clutch
We successfully replaced the defective Schottel BMK80 clutch on board the Pusher Ship Radial. The old clutch was taken for overhaul in our workshop, where it is completely overhauled.
We thank AHE Schaumburger Weserkies for the confidence in Schraven B.V. and wish them a safe and prosperous journey.

We kicked off summer well with a fun summer drinks party at Schraven!️🍻
With delicacies from Kim's snackhut and drinks from Degen our employees were well pampered. Thank you so much! 🙌

July 1983 - High tide
Exactly 42 years ago, things looked very different.
Only three years on the road with Schraven BV, when our working area suddenly turned into an island.
We took the Amfibi to the mainland - a true water adventure for the children, but for us entrepreneurs we were mainly looking for ways to keep going.
Doing business means anticipating, even when the water is literally up to your lips.
