Wij hebben weer een mooie opdracht afgerond aan boord. Dit keer ging het om de schroefas keerringen van de Rolls Royce 2x AQM 901CRP thrusters. Van Ballegooy Scheepsschroeven heeft de schroeven gerepareerd en alles werkt weer naar behoren.
See here the result after our inspection work on the 4 thrusters Schottels SCD STP 200. Among other things we checked the propeller shafts for cracks and the oil was changed for the five-yearly inspection. This time Damen Shiprepair Oranjewerf balanced the propellers and the river cruise vessel is ready to sail again.
Today we have another beautiful milestone within Schraven BV. Jurgen, you joined our team at the office 12,5 years ago. Amazing what you have done in the past years. Purchasing, sales, building websites, setting up a new automation program, setting up a marketing plan, making cost calculations and you can even be deployed as a product photographer. You name it, whatever function you hold, you immerse yourself in it and make it your own. Thank you for the past years and here's to a great future together.
Regarding several questions about a 300 hp Thruster, we now also have our STZ 240 Thruster available which is suitable for up to 326 hp at 2100 rpm. We can deliver the version of this Thruster in both bottom and transom mounting.

We repaired another Rolls Royce AQM901CRP Bow thruster . We always test if everything works properly in our workshop at the hydraulics department, so that we are not faced with surprises on board. After testing carefully, everything was transported to the ship. On location we have mounted the parts in the ship and a sea trial has been made . Everything works as it supposed to work and Uniworld Boutique River Cruises can sail safely again.
